Rhonda Funk

Rhonda is one of the most heart-centred women I have ever met. Her superpower is most definitely that she is an empath, and she has an incredible gift for hearing everything you don’t say in words. Her vibes are always on point and guide her in being a true and honest friend. She is always ready and willing to listen and offer support and creates a safe and trusted circle. When push comes to shove, this lady is a fierce advocate and she’s got your back!

Rhonda is a proud mom of 4 beautiful kids and is happily married to her amazing husband. She works hard in contributing to their business operations as the administrator, and in creating a home and life that inspires her children to freely be themselves, while learning through rich and adventurous experiences.

She has dedicated so much of her time, energy, and resources to supporting those in need in our community through free family swap events, holiday food and gift hampers, and so much more. She also spent several years as a caring board member with a local daycare, and currently operates a Little Free Library – The Little Funk Library #100068 to share her passion for all things literature and imagination with the world.

Words of wisdom and empowerment from Rhonda:

I asked Rhonda what she feels has been the most valuable lesson she learned in 2022, and this is what she had to share.

“My whole life I have considered myself a great listener, I see problems in a different way and give sound advice, I am always there to support others. I encourage others to embrace their quirks and crazy, to love who they are. 2022 proved to be a year I relearnt to do all this for myself! Let’s be honest My inner voice was hacked and broken, it needed repair and I needed to take responsibility for being in control of that maintenance crew.”

I asked Rhonda to share her message of strength and empowerment for other women to embrace 2023 with a positive mindset, and this is her inspiring response.

“When I think of 2023 I think of the word BALANCE.

Find the balance you need to let your soul dance! A forest has all the wisdom to heal and calm the soul – Find a tree to lean on/hug to support you when you feel weak.

I encourage you to read the following poem, Good Timber by Douglas Malloch.

Good timber doesn’t grow with ease, the stronger winds the stronger trees. Has always been my inspirational quote for life. I also strongly encourage you to read the book, Oh the Places you will Go by Dr Seuss! I didn’t understand the important messages within its pages when I was first introduced to this gem at graduation ceremony while being read to by our HS counsellor, but let me tell ya! Go read it! You won’t be disappointed!!”

WOW! What an incredible honour to be able to share Rhonda’s story with you. She continues to show up in my life as one of my biggest supporters and cheerleaders. With her lifting me up, I have been able to tear down some mindset barriers in life and business, and have achieved success that I never thought possible. Even just knowing that she’s always there gives me such strength. Women need women like this. This is how we change the world. Rhonda’s journey starts with love. She acts with kindness. Builds a home of peace. Lives a life full of purpose. Always with love.

Thank you for reading Rhonda’s story, and let’s keep supporting and empowering each other as we continue our journey to live our best lives!

RHONDA YOU ARE PHENOMENAL!!!
