Tracey Kirby Savard
Tracey was nominated by her colleague and friend, Martyne. It was so important for Martyne to recognize her and she passionately shared all things phenomenal about her! Wherever Tracey goes, she is the light of the party with her contagious laugh and beautiful personality. Even on bad days, you will find Tracey smiling and sharing positive comments.
Martyne met Tracey several years ago, when they worked together at the same school for one year and then Tracey moved to Alberta. In this short time, she made a big impact on her and Martyne really admired her! She was so excited when she learned that Tracey had moved back and was assigned to the same school again. She knew she would bring a breath of fresh air along with her veil of positivity.
Tracey is a go-getter! She fights for what she wants, and she doesn’t let anything get in the way of achieving her goals. She stands her ground. She is intelligent, sensitive, compassionate, honest, enthusiastic, fun, caring, and a loving person. She is also passionate and extremely good at what she does. Tracey is an incredible school resource teacher.
There are many things that Martyne loves about Tracey, but one that sticks out is the way she makes her feel when they are together. She makes her feel important and valued, like she truly matters. She is a great listener. She will laugh and cry with you. She has a talent for changing your rainy cloud into a sunny day! She also knows how and when to push you so you too can thrive. Tracey is helping her to get out of her comfort zone and steering her to where she aspires to be in her career, and she is so grateful for that.
As you can tell, Tracey has many great qualities that make her who she is with her strengths and a few flaws (according to her husband that is…). Tracey is married with three beautiful children. She has a romantic story that is not for us to tell, but I’ve heard that it definitely falls under the fairy tale category.
Tracey is a great role model, and she more than deserves to be recognized for all the lives she has touched and the greatness she has done and is continuing to do on this earth.
Words of wisdom and empowerment from Tracey:
I asked Tracey what she feels has been the most valuable lesson she has learned in 2020, and this is what she had to share.
“To give myself grace. I am unable be a full-time everything. This does not make me a failure. This makes me human. I will no longer feel guilty about taking time for myself, asking for help or setting boundaries.”
I asked Tracey to share her message of strength and empowerment for other women to start 2021 with a positive mindset, and this is her inspiring response.
“There is always joy to be found. Even on the hard days, look for the little things that put a smile on your face – a beautiful sunrise, the sound of a child laughing, a hot cup of tea. Take the time to enjoy where you are and be present in the moment.”
WOW! What an incredible honour to be able to share Tracey’s story with you. We can only be so lucky to have the opportunity to work with someone who truly takes the time to listen and get to know YOU, and motivate you to become the best version of yourself. An amazing gift, and really makes a significant impact on how we can thrive in the workplace, rather than just survive. Thank you for reading Tracey’s story, and let’s keep supporting and empowering each other as we continue our journey to live our best life!
TRACEY YOU ARE PHENOMENAL!!!
